Detroit was without one of their starting guards as well. So that's another injury to add to the pile.

Montgomery was active and he played. But he wasn't the same. Nor should anyone who has closely paid attention to this team expected him to be. As great as Ben Johnson is, he does give me some Mike Martz vibes.

The killer was the pick 6 after the Washington TD. That's what sunk Detroit because they have to essentially play spotless in order to win. They don't have the resources defensively to bail them out.

They could manage without Hutchinson. But losing McNeil and Davis in the Buffalo game was impending doom.

People claiming JD5 is already the best QB in the NFC probably feeling pretty vindicated so far these playoffs. This man does not seem like a rookie at all.

It’s a tough break for the Lions. If they had even a normal amount of injuries this year I think they would have easily made it to the finals, it was just otherworldly how they constantly were dropping like flies this season. Will have to see what the future brings for them. But it’s a good time to be a Commanders fan. Way ahead of schedule.

the thing that just came out about him not wanting daniels and wanting howell to run his offense over him if the commanders hired him last offseason completely soured me on him as a candidate
