What a wild day of upsets. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many top seeded teams lose to unranked teams in one season, let alone one day. 30% of the nation’s top 10 teams losing to teams not in the top #25, with a 4th losing late in their game. #9 lost to a team in the #25 spot. If California can hang on, 50% of the top 10 will have lost to big,big underdogs today to go along with the #11 team to lose to an unranked program as well. This would have been the day to put a few bucks on underdogs.

#1 Alabama loses to unranked Vandy
#4 Tennessee loses to unranked Arkansas
#8 Miami losing to unranked California (4th)
#9 Missouri loses to #25 Texas A&M
#10 Michigan loses to unranked Washington
#11 USC loses to unranked Minnesota
*Miami came back to win it late.

This Ashton Jeanty sure seems to be something. 200YPG, 3+ TDPG. Yards after contact an amazing 7.

The fact that he is averaging 10.9 yards per carry is pretty impressive

It's Travis Hunter, Heisman Trophy winner. Wasn't necessarily a fan of the Buffs or this player. But new appreciation watching his emotional Heisman speech and the journey he's lived to get to this moment. His Mom was a great interview as well. Congratulations Heisman Hunter.

And the upsets continue. The Top 4 seeds with byes - Oregon, Boise State, Arizona State and Georgia - have all lost. Now down to Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, and Texas as the lone SEC survivor (which is hilarious).

After last year's absurdity with Alabama getting in over undefeated FSU...watching all the SEC "powerhouses" fall flat on their faces in bowl games was sheer schadenfreude.

Pretty interesting how this one played out. Never would have thought that all 4 bye teams would be bounced. Boise, yes. Ohio State and Ryan Day may redeem themselves after the Michigan loss. Thought he was going to be fired the next week.

Don't mind seeing the SEC teams fading but this transfer portal is really causing me to lose some interest in the sport.

OSU vs ND would have been a good fit for a cold and miserable Friday night.

Who you got, I don't have much love for either team but kind of want to see Buckeyes win as their coach was supposed to be thrown in the ocean after the Michigan loss. But I like that Freeman too. I think that OSU takes them.

I’m an Oregon fan but they are the Bills of college football. They flat out choke when the big games matter. They got extremely lucky beating Ohio State in the regular season and I thought if they play each other in the playoffs, Ohio would stomp them. And they did.

Always had a soft spot for the Irish so my heart wants ND to win but my brain is saying Ohio will blow them out. They are firing on all cylinders right now.

It's been a wacky year, so I'm picking ND despite my head saying Bucks all the way. May as well continue the wackiness.

Interesting that Notre Dame doesn't have share any of the extra money they make from their games, where OSU and the other teams have to split with their conferences. Will it they spend on NIL? Probably not.

Oregon like Buffalo is a good comparison.

ND stays in the games, should be an entertaining one. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull it off. They have some injuries though.

Notre Dame Baby. LFG!!

Heart, character, perseverance. Been awesome to watch this team batter its way into the National Championship game. Would be epic storybook to see them slay one final big time program. I think Ohio State has too many weapons but Marcus Freeman has done a great job building a tough, resilient team.

This beauty running back and this play embodies the determination of this team. Let's LFG Irish!!
