Great song…

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a college team finish top 2 in the country in a season’s final rankings, win a playoff game, lose in the championship game, but then plummet to fall outside the top 25 to start the next season, like what happened to Washington. They lost a bunch of players to the NFL and their head coach to Alabama, but for them to go from #2 to #26 or lower because of personnel losses is a bit extreme.

Oregon had no business winning this one, statistically. Won it on a last second FG, not a game they should be proud of winning.

Some interesting matchups on the Week 3 slate. LSU vs. South Carolina, Colorado vs. Colorado State, and Alabama vs. Wisconsin all have the potential for interesting storylines.

South Carolina give one away. Moronic penalties negate a critical pick 6 and LSU is able to hang around. Last second drive to kick and miss a potential tying field goal. Brutal.

I love football, but I hate how many games come down to the last play.
I don't know I kind of like that. Kinda what makes March Madness something to watch too when the end of the game still actually means something.

Better than the blowouts that are over after the 1st half or even quarter

Battle of the facial hairs

or

Minshew vs Dalton, unless I'm only one seeing that lol.

Nowhere near as insane, but a friend gave me a last-minute ticket to watch Duke vs. UNC yesterday. UNC had a 20-0 lead at one point and choked it all away by losing 21-20.

Hockey will always be my favorite sport to attend - but college football is a close second.

Speaking of Bama...they're the latest upset victims this week. About to go down 40-35 to an unranked Vanderbilt.

As someone who despises the Tide, this is absolutely glorious. (For lurkers who need translation: Think the Golden Knights losing to the Sabres.)
Came here to gloat about this major upset as well. As Alabama is to the NCAA as Vegas is to Gary, they’ll probably only drop 4 spots. I’ll be surprised if they drop out of the top 7 altogether after this loss. The NCAA has to have them sniffing around the playoff every year.
