They could be traded, injured, told to skip rookie camp and just report to the big camp, or (IMO, very unlikely) sent off to a different team. I assume this is the kind of phrase some lawyer makes them put in there in the off case one of them isn't there.

Legal disclaimer. The whole article is (shameless) self-promotion written by the Habs to sell tickets for 2 rookie camp games. While the rosters aren't final yet it's fairly obvious that the players named above will be there, if healthy, but who is going to be dressed on the 14th and 15th is unknown at the time the tickets are up for sale.

I think what he meant is that just a stream from some camera on top of the stands, like we often get from RDS in some training camps is not as good as a TV coverage

Babenko, Galvas and Sterner are starting their seasons and are ineligible to be signed as they played euro leagues last year.


Hvidston, Spunar or Matecha could be.

Wouldn't expect a ton more invites than the ones already announced plus the young guys on AHL contracts like Mianscum.
