We are really close to having non-stop talk about a potential Mets v. Yankees WS.
Yes and no - Mets are clear underdogs against any of the NL teams - but of course if they just get past these damn Phillies and they only have to win one more series....

I don't think we are huge underdogs. I'd rather play the Dodgers since their pitching is suspect.

Vegas says otherwise…our odds of winning the World Series (at least before today) were lower than any of the other teams left in the playoffs including the Royals lol

The odds for winning the World Series is not based on individual series matchups but rather the teams that a team could potentially face to get there. The Mets having to face the Phillies and then one of either the Dodgers or Padres is much tougher than what the Royals have in front of them. It is not a true gauge of head to head probabilities.

The Mets have had the best record in baseball for 4+ months now, just knocked out a 93 win team, and if they somehow knock out a 95 win team, they will have beaten two of the top 4 teams in baseball to advance.

If the Mets advance, I'd put the Dodgers and Padres at 60% chance of beating the Mets. It's definitely not like Yankees v. Twins.

Plenty of series to go.

Just need a new side character to replace the pumpkin
The shots of Grimace in the crowd were priceless. Way to be a target in that crowd!
Haprer homer was the turning point and trying to get more than 3 outs from Diaz was the low point. He's such a liability. I'll take happily take the split.

What the F*** is this shit that the Yankees PLAYOFF game is not on YES?????

What the hell??
In the United States we sometimes just randomly change the channel a game airs on just to mess with foreigners like you. You can try to fool the TV by wearing a 10 gallon hat and big belt buckle.

Couldn't ask for a more enjoyable game 3 at Citi field. Bullpen is more rested than theirs and Pete Alonso is making up for a shitty regular season. LGM! OMG! Ya Gotta believe!
