Completely understanding that it is in no way one player’s fault that the US is out in the quarters…this is another rock for the pile on the “Brady Tkachuk is actually kind of a loser” party

NHL network is asking if teams should be able to add players so late when they are eliminated from the playoffs.

Hey guy…don’t score 0 goals. Pasta didn’t stop you from scoring on every puck you shot.

Sabres players seem to do really well in this tournament. Makes me think that we have the talent to succeed, we've just lacked the coaching and cohesiveness. The Sabres are less that the sum of their parts recently.
There has always been the talented, not just recently, players who were disliked or whipping boys, succeeding elswhere.
Mostly GMs not finding the right mix of players & hiring the wrong coaches.

Wait until you find out what they do when we ship them out to teams with better rosters and better coaching.

The Sabres have absolutely been less than the sum of their parts. Hopefully Ruff can help fix that.

Anyway, love seeing Dahlin step up in a big moment. Kind of thing that makes you look forward to someday (sigh) seeing him in the playoffs.

Dozens, Power, Byram, and the rest of the Canadian team is about to take on the Swiss in the Semi-finals.

Earlier, the Czech Republic stuns Sweden 7-3 to advance to the Gold Medal Game. Dahlin is playing for Bronze.

Sweden hadn't even trailed at any point in the tournament.

Dahlin got an assist today.

The Czech's getting Necas, Pastrňák, and Zacha really paid dividends and made it worth the trip.

Parayko bales out Power after he got forechecked at the defensive blueline, then Power starts the breakout and Canada puts all sorts of pressure on to end the 2nd thanks to Cozens' line.

Cozens has been one of the best players on the ice in the third period but it's still 2-1 and Canada is running out of time.

Power with two great chances with 4 minutes left. It's full court press for the Canadians.

Now the Swiss get a delay of game penalty and Canada goes on the power play with 3:06 left in regulation.

And Tavares SCORES with 2:07 left! Power with a couple of key plays to keep the puck in the zone. Tavares from Bedard and Power. 2-2!

WOW! Now the Swiss get called for two many men with 36 seconds left in regulation! Canada back the power play!

On the ice - Tavares, Cozens, Power, Paul, Bedard

Period ends. Going to OT. Canada starting still on a 4-on-3 power play.
