Has Odelius played? I was looking forward to seeing how he looks. I don't think he played against Devils. Injured?
Not yet, possibly tomorrow vs Philly.

Interesting take from last night. He was not good at all.So far we’ve seen 3 players in both games: MacLean, Mayfield, Cholowski. The only regulars not to play yet are Sorokin (injury rehab) and Reilly (assuming minor injury/sick because he didn’t skate on Monday as per Stefan Rosner). On the plus side, Varlamov looked good last night and the 11-13-14 trio was offensively lethal. Mayfield looks substantially better than last year and actually looks capable of playing on the bottom pair again.
Thanks for the list showing guys who haven’t played yetView attachment 909628

He was better vs NJD than last night. Still better then what we saw last season.Interesting take from last night. He was not good at all.
I’m hoping Sorokin gets a game atleast before the season so we can atleast get him NHL action before the season. Thanks for the list showing guys who haven’t played yet
And my guess is Sorokin is placed retroactively on LTIR to open up cap space to carry an extra forward, along with someone like Fasching going on IR to prevent losing him to waivers. My guess is Isles carry 3 goalies the first several weeks…Sorokin ain’t playing.
JF BERUBE should be available as the #3My guess is Isles carry 3 goalies the first several weeks…Sorokin ain’t playing.
Why not Nate Lawson?JF BERUBE should be available as the #3
No he is waiver exempt, but he very likely would not report and would go back to the KHL.Would Tsyplakov have to go through waivers to start in the A? Because he needs to see a lot of icetime, but not at the NHL level.
The player I want to see a lot more of as the preseason goes on is Maggio. I liked his motor, his chippy play, his seeming increased strength, and his penchant for attacking the net opportunistically.
That's too bad, because imo it could go south quickly in the regular season very quickly with the mistakes he's making, which I think could be cleaned up.No he is waiver exempt, but he very likely would not report and would go back to the KHL.

Why the fear of losing Wahlstrom? Teams weren't scared of losing Foudy when they waived him. At this point, Wahlstrom needs to get off the pot because he still hasn't pooped.Between Foudy, Wahlly and Fasching, I think Foudy has looked the best....
Send Fasching down and see if he clears and find an injury for Wahlly.
I think Foudy should make the team, Speed Kills and he seems to have insticts.

lets see him as well as Duff bake in the AHL for a full tour . he was starting to put up some points in the final stretch of the season .Would Tsyplakov have to go through waivers to start in the A? Because he needs to see a lot of icetime, but not at the NHL level.

I went to see the highlights today.
I found only this:
Can someone tell me WTF this is?
Not only was this one of the worst cut hockey-related videos I've seen in ages, but at like the 5:10 mark, we're transported to some open market in Thailand - and never go back.
Weirdest doggone thing...
Wally is the new Bellows. .He will get waived and picked up and waived again shortly thereafter. He will be in Sweden a year from now.
