Had to go back and check, but Barabosha was added all the way back in poll #4. Thought that was rather odd at the time - him vs. Edwards seems about right here.

I like how Edwards has progressed at Michigan, but he remains a longshot to play in the NHL. Could certainly see him in Utica though and maybe get a handful of games at the NHL level one day.

I know a few prospects guys here are high on Barabosha who is not only big (6'3") but also got 21 games in at the KHL level last year as a 19 year old, so there's certainly some upside despite being a 7th round pick.

Somewhat of a coin flip for me, but I'll go with the potential upside in Barabosha.

After that, I really don't know - maybe Beckman considering he's actually played in the NHL (23 games total - 11 last season with the Wild) or maybe Pikkarainen considering he's our highest recent draft pick left and I'm not very optimistic on Brennan or Salminen at this point.

He's a defenseman type from a bygone era that I think can still work on a 3rd pairing or 6th D. He's a stay at home defenseman that blocks shots like a champ and is aggressive with his hits. Voltchenkov wasn't the greatest defenseman ever but he played with an edge, delivered crowd pleasing hits and blocked a lot of shots. That's the type of defenseman Barabosha has a chance to be for the Devils.

My vote is for Edwards. He is closer, he has all the tools for defensive role, competition is huge but we are talking about 18-20 position.
Barabosha is intriguing but his path to nhl is very long.

I still like Pikka as a prospect, like him more than Stillman because he has everything but better, his track record for his levels and stage is better.

Traff isn't a sure thing but he is energetic. Would be great if he will develop his skating and starting speed. May be Bratt will help.

I want to hope for Melovsky. We need defensive center.
