While I like Roy, this was between Beck and Xhekaj for me.

The reason being that Beck is already approaching the game like a pro. he's in excellent physical shape. His skating is the best of the three and he has an excellent pro ready snap shot.

Both Xhekaj and Beck have very high compete, which is a must in the type of meaningful games that are plaed in todays NHL.

What makes me choose Xhekaj though is the amount of aggression he plays with at 6'4". Add in good IQ, a very powerful shot, playmaking, puckhandling skills, knowing where to be on the ice and you have someone that could potentially be one of the most coveted players (like a Tom Wilson). Its possible that I overrate him and that Roy's IQ will trump both players, but these are the style of players I like.

Having to choose between them for the number 6 spot is a great problem to have however.

At this point, a few years ago, our 6th best prospect was probably someone like Joni Ikonen.

Unreal how drastic the change is.

Voted for our #1 goalie again.

Going Beck on this one. I just think his upside at the NHL level is more projectable than Roy, despite Roy having shown already he can handle it.

Joshua Roy, I see a Tyler Toffoli type of player. He is a great smart two-way player who can score and pass.

Very close with Jacob Fowler, but G's take more times. I will go with a guy who can already have a good impact in top 9. Top 6 potential.

Add Volokhin.

Is there an easy way to get all the results from every year the polls were made?

As much as I like Joshua Roy I'm going to go with Owen Beck. Beck will be a better Phil Danault with some offence. Plays the more important position - C and dominates at the faceoff circle. Roy will be my pick after Beck.

Fowler is underrated IMO. His ceiling is higher (#1 Starting Goalie) than many other prospects of ours, his mentally very strong and he is showing a higher floor too. I honestly don't think it's a matter of if with Fowler, just when. We have wonderful G depth, so he's going to take as long as needs to be NHL-ready, and IMO this kid is going to be walking into a fantastic situation - goal support, other stars taking the pressure off, etc - can't wait for the day to come. With this management team at the helm, he's going to blossom even if he needs more time for whatever reason.

The impact he's going to have is much higher than Roy or Mallioux. I'm interested to see if other fans agree or not.

It's just harder to evaluate goalies.

I'm liking the changes, but Ikonen impressed me before the injuries.
