Hage in front of Beck?

I guess we need to define what a better prospect means, the guy's who's closer to the NHL or the guy with the better offensive potential

I mean, you voted Mesar in front of Beck...

Also, it's not a single factor evaluation, it's a combination of readiness, floor and ceiling.

To me, the better prospect is the one who has the better upside. If its determined simply on 'who's closer to the NHL', then there are dozen's of 'prospects' who are better than McKenna who won't be in the NHL until 2027.

It needs to be weighted between upside and floor. If we ignore more one element over the other, we get an incomplete picture.

Of course, all of us will weigh ceiling and floor differently in our own equations.

Just like 3 and 4 were pretty clear (either one of Orville or Hutson), 5 to 9 is also a group of rather close players : Hage, Wawa, Mailloux, Beck and Fowler.

I think i'll go Wawa here. Top-6 upside left and already an NHL, which makes him the clear highest floor. It was really between him and Mailloux, but each of the five players I mentionned in the first paragraph is a good choice.

And that does not mean i am wrong...

But in Hage's case i think its just the excitement of a new shiny toy, Beck should be ahead

Josh Wawa here
You can't convince me you've seen enough of Hage to put him ahead of Roy!!!
Ma boy Wawa consistently exceeded expectations, at every step, and he'll do it again this season.

Ceiling difference.
Heehh....
Here I see the argument, because Hage COULD Be a Top-6 center, while Roy won't be anything else than a Top-6 winger

I don't see much of a ceiling difference other than that.
