I don't think calling someone the consensus top rated dman in a draft class is really worth much, considering how terrible some drafts can be for dmen (see 2015).

For what it's worth, pre-draft I had Hutson and Reinbacher at the exact same spots in their draft years (10th).

Hutson’s growth since his draft year (some of it vertical) and his ability to show up for every opportunity he’s been presented with puts him at #2 for me. The potential outweighs the risk.

Add Kapanen. He’s really started to put things together more consistently.
