Looks like Boston announced their starting lineup for the season opener and Tyler Johnson isn’t in it. Were any other nhl teams interested in him?

As many of you know, I love crunching through statistics that ultimately mean nothing! 
So without further adieu, here are the League standings for Free Agents Signed This Off-Season
(NOTE: This counts NHL free agency, but also imports. Does not count RFA or UFA re-signings, nor college guys who signed late last year and played a couple games)
(*player was signed but left the team via trade or waivers before the start of the season)
Again, kind of arbitrary when you factor in some times were more involved in trades, or focused on internal promotions, or simply didn't have as many people leave this off-season so there weren't as many holes to fill.
But, still interesting that a team like Dallas can revamp their organizational depth with a full third of their total contract slots being filled by guys with fresh ink, meanwhile Montreal felt the need to only sign a singular player all off-season.

It was just a thought. If there was no room for him on the Bruins' NHL roster I thought maybe they'd invite him to their AHL camp.
