I haven't followed these pre season games all that closely.

How has Turcotte looked? It doesn't seem like there's been much talk about him.

In my opinion, he hasn't looked out of place. Hasn't had any high skill plays, but no major gaffes. I do twinge a bit still whenever he gets hit.

I'm pretty pessimistic about him honestly.

I'm pretty pessimistic about him honestly.

He looks solid and did make many good plays and was engaged along the boards.

He had a nice skill goal where he received the puck in front of the net , stick handled and back handed it over the goalies pads.

Him and Akil picked up from last year where the earned a spot on the team or next call ups.

They are not really suited for the 4th line but that's where they wait in the wings to get bumped up the lineup if there are injuries.

How has Clarke been this preseason? I haven’t heard a peep anywhere on any website or anything how he’s looking. Which is kinda odd because usually I hear non stop chitchat everywhere how studly he is/will be for a few years now on all sites

I thought forsure I’d hear a ton of chatter about him especially after Doughty went down with injury

He had some great moments but is still a bit raw. He will be sheltered but will get 1st powerplay unit time with Doughty out.
The real story this season will be Byfield. He is going to be a top player.

he wasn't put in any position to show out

after that game they moved him down the lineup to play minuscule minutes with scrubs

I do wonder how many goals and assists Fagemo would have if the Kings just had him stationed at the top of the circle for the entire power play like Ovechkin. He could play like 5 minutes a night for all I care.

I guess there's no room for one-tool specialists in the NHL.

I wonder all the time how many goals Fagemo would have had he been allowed to play another 2 seasons in Sweden then make his way to Ontario-LA?
