Each poll will run for 48 hours except in the case of a clear landslide. I will go to the top 25 and include a final poll where you can pick 5 honorable mentions. In the fourteenth poll I am voting for Noah Warren.

As always the list will define prospects as hockeysfuture does: NHL Prospect Criteria - Hockey's Future.

2024 Ducks Prospect Rankings:

1. LW - Cutter Gauthier (2024 acquired)
2. RW - Beckett Sennecke (2024 draftee)
3. D - Olen Zellweger (no change)
4. D - Tristan Luneau (+1)
5. D - Stian Solberg (2024 draftee)
6. G - Damian Clara (+16)
7. RW - Sam Colangelo (+18)
8. C - Lucas Pettersson (2024 draftee)
9. D - Rodwin Dionicio (2023 HM)
10. C - Nathan Gaucher (-2)

Seven out of the top 10 being new to our list could be a very good or very bad sign for us. Kind of incredible either way.

Good thing we have a long off-season or we'd run out of time to do these polls.

Still Massé. And a whole bunch of guys who it's tough to evaluate exactly what odds to put on each breaking through to establish any order.

Isn't it more like 3? Unless you count Cutter. But yes, the crop of last year Terrance, Pitre, Myatovic had tough years for various reasons.

Specific to the top 10 list. So, only zellweger, luneau, and gaucher are returnees from last year.

That sort of turnover for a top 10 list is good if guys are good enough to graduate and move off prospect lists entirely or other guys further down the list force their way up.

Someone can go through last year's top 10 and better analyze if our turnover level is more good or bad.

Myatovic, Pastujov and Hinds slid out of the top 10. The rest (Carlsson, Mintyukov, Dostal, Lacombe) graduated. I’d say it’s good turnover considering the guys who graduated had strong seasons all things considered.

That's not bad at all and much less than I was thinking.

Myatovic was plagued by injuries last year. Pasta and Hinds played as rookies in the AHL. where both had a tremendous season in the CHL the year prior.

We added essentially three 1st round picks in Cutter, Sennecke, and Solberg. That's a huge influx of first rounders. Then three prospects had stellar seasons made huge jumps in the ranking of Colangelo, Clara, and Hot Rod. 2024 2nd round pick Pettersson was described by asst GM Madden to be "wild bill" like.

Overall, it's a good turnover.

Let's aim to get 1% better each day. For example, spelling Massé correctly.

For those who want to use that special "e", then hold down "alt" key with one hand and press the following sequence of numbers one after the other "0, 2, 3, 3". Yeah, I got tired of hunting down that special "e" in posts to use for the prospect's name and hoped there would be a shortcut.
