Brutal in every sense. Emery was the guy I wanted the Leafs to pick. They traded with the Ducks and the Rags take him 1 spot before. Elick was another guy I wouldn't mind but they draft a second rounder? Brutal

Ben Danford thinks the game in a more advanced way than most. He knows how to defend in-zone and how to move the puck up the ice. And he always plays the opposition physically. He closes his gap before the blue line, pressures the opposition all over the zone, and shows a lot of poise on retrieval, spinning off forecheckers, and attracting them before passing.

Don't know enough to judge, but Wes deserves the benefit of the doubt.

He's 6'1, 190lbs. That's not "big" by NHL defenseman standards. That's very average size wise.
