6ft 1 RHD 190 ranked as high as 30 from Ontario. Nice. Tre didn't sell out. Sounds like Cowan deux
The fact EP has him at 30 tells me his analytical profile must be outstanding. Not to mention Chayka said something similar on the ESPN broadcast.
at least on the highlight pack he seems to have good awareness
but then again how he plays off the highlights is twice as important
Ben Danford thinks the game in a more advanced way than most. He knows how to defend in-zone and how to move the puck up the ice. And he always plays the opposition physically. He closes his gap before the blue line, pressures the opposition all over the zone, and shows a lot of poise on retrieval, spinning off forecheckers, and attracting them before passing.
He's 6'1, 190lbs. That's not "big" by NHL defenseman standards. That's very average size wise.Lol it's hilarious because everything I'm reading on this guy sounds like the exact kind of defenseman 90% of you yearn for. Big & physical, but unlike the Schneiders of the world apparently his brain + puck skills are +
Bad ticker. Bust.We drafted Fred Sanford. Dummies
