I want a guy who can skate. Everytime that would be my top skill.

If they have at least 3 other skills that are top tier I could be swayed.

Doesn't mean you have to draft a small guy to be a good skater either.

Greentree and Boisvert are arguably the worst skaters ranked in the first round so scratch them off your list lol

I’m gonna say hell no to that deal. As much as I like McGroarty he is not worth that. All you need to do is a one for one swap. McGroarty for Minten and Niemela if you want but I don’t think we should be moving 23 at all



McGroarty has not played center since like his first year with the NTDP. Love him as a player though

Minten has no value in a trade for guy like McGroaty

Low ceiling, low floor player

We would only get McGroaty if he wants out of WPG and wants to be a leaf

No one at 23 will be a better prospect than McGroaty was when drafted and shouldnt be a better NHLer than him for foreseeable future

I think it's great we have Minten. He will replace Kampf but he is worth a second. We will get outbid.

It's been said multiple times that neither player's skating issues are expected to be prohibitive

I bought a streaming service and had the cable cut off in April. So I'm able to watch the ESPN feed rather than the clowns of sportsnet. They never talk about the players from a skills perspective. ESPN is refreshing.
