Not sure on that Cleveland/Phelan next year, too early to see who is looking that unimpressive.
I was encouraged we went to the WHL with our top pick this year, I think that league has been putting out a ton of talent. Believe Wallin is based on there and Draper has said has watched Danielson for multiple years.Well, there's the nepotism pick for the draft.
They don't track hits stats in juniors, so hard to figure out. It's all about hits/60 with low ice time and no puck skills. Bonus if they're tall.
It could wind up being Fischer, lol.

Fischer’s son can play. He was a high pick in the USHL draft. Got a decent amount of play in the OHL last year for being super young.
This should be a good defenseman draft.
We’ll buckle up, because Horcoff’s son is going to be in the draft after that one. 6’3 center playing for the US program this year.Oddly, I would have been happier if Draper had gone NDTP with #17 (Moore), and WHL with the second round pick (Dragicevic).
We'll see how Lukas does this season, remember nepotism pick can happen in any round. My guess is second round regardless of how he plays, lol.

Adam Jiricek is one of my favorites in this draft, he's gonna be realgud

I'm willing to tank to get another Eiserman! Destiny awaits.Looks like a potential top 10 pick. Knock on wood, Detroit won't be in a position to pick in the top 10 this season.

I know, but one can dream. This roster isn't capable of tanking unless Seider, Larkin and at least 3 others are long term injured.
man this didn't age well lol.Looking like a really good draft for defenseman if we don't take one with a premium pick this year.
I was watching some highlights from the 03-04 season recently and man I forgot how towering Fischer was to everyone on the ice.Well, there's the nepotism pick for the draft.

If he didn't have a number or his name on the jersey, it wouldn't matter. You knew EXACTLY where fischer was on that ice sheet. My god, man was wide as hell too.
For sure. I had high hopes, he was actually starting to show some offense when his career came to a sudden end. He must've been real popular in the locker room, Kenny gave him a front office job right away.I was watching some highlights from the 03-04 season recently and man I forgot how towering Fischer was to everyone on the ice.

Twas Aaron Ward, but yes.I remember the story about Fischer living with Lapointe.
Lapointe told him to wear a shirt around the house, cause Lapointe's wife was there.
