WC: 2024 Czech team in Prague!

I am dreading what the final nomitaton would look like. More specifiacaly that Rulik says, "oh well NA players didnt convinced us, so no Nosek, no Vrana, no Zohorna, no Spacek, and we go with Kovarciks, Beranek and Krejcik ou yeeeah, lets destroy Canada 6:0 with this brutal firepower" :D

Lol Fflek and Sedlak with Cervenka ... that offense is tragicomical really :D

Would rather not score us at all then this slog get one lol

Exactly this.. they put Zadina with Kodytek and then cut him after a minute. Then they cut Kodytek. Thanks for the chance coach.

Krejcik just scored... cut Gudas.

FTR.. Spacek keeps standing out to me on where he is standing. He is always down low... just like Jiricek and Svozil. Stylistically.. that is very different from all our stay at home D. No idea if he makes it but you can see he is not like the others.

No Krejcik will go he just scored lol. And Lenc with Flek too, cause they were there. Cut Palat and Kubalik pls. Dont even wait for Pasta. we have Lenc and Flek thats enough lol

Worts thing is no one is even injured and all of them could come .. and we will bring Krejcik ,Scotka and Zabransky lol

Here are my guesses... not saying I'm right, not saying I like it... but here are my guesses.

My dream is that they announce a few less guys and say we are waiting for Pasta or Necas. Maybe Hertl if he gets eliminated tonight (highly unlikely based on Nedved comments)

My dream is they announce Jiricek is released and coming (which Nedved alluded to)
Hoping to see Kampf is added as well. He was good in round 1 and was good in the Bronze win 2 years ago.

I think Vozenilek will make the team, not thrilled but it is what it is. Boy it doesnt look very good. And I am dreading we will cut Vrana, Zohorna, Nosek, Tichacek, Spacek .. and we will bring Kovarcik, Beranek, Scotka, Krejcik, Zabransky lol

WIll the nomination be right after the game?

I think 90 minutes... I could be wrong though.
 
Zohorna?? Does anyone really see Zohorn in the nomination after this? I don't know, I'm sick of it, but Zohorna was a completely useless player. But do what you will. I will be hoping for a quarter final.

I know that everyone is general after the battle, but taking so many players really was stupid idea. Especially if most of the players on the verge of nomination are players for 4th line at best. Kovarcik brothers, Beranek, Kousal, Lenc...Why the f do you need so many of those absolutelly average playrs here, like what do you expect to see from them. Same applies to Scotka or Zabransky in defense.

Why exactly should Nosek and Zohorna be on the team, and not Kovařčík or Beránek?

Leave a spot for round 2 elimination... Hronek, Pasta, Necas and maybe even Chytil may appear.
 
The team was looking quite good defensively, but the the offensive zone game was quite raw and awkward. They still need to find the right chemistry. It is apparent this team is lacking typical goal scorers, so it has to be a lost about hard work, drive into the net.

Cause I said it already and say it again. Those are players who are playing (eventhough maybe not full time) in the best hockey league in the world. And they are playing there for a reason. Did they play amazing? NO, did they stand out? NO ... but the whole team played terrible all 3 games, Kovarckik and Beranek was equally terrible as Nosek and Zohorna.

BUT for Kovarcik and Beranek this is the ceiling, Nosek and Zohorna are clearly betteer players, and still have a room to improve with every game and have much bigger potential and likelyhood of playing good at the final tournament then Kovarcik and Beranek. Thats why.

Even if they were on the same level and the only reason was to bring them cause they have experience from NHL, I think its reason enough. Its a f***in WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, at home none the less, we want to see interesting players there, players you dont get to see regularly, people paid big bucks for the games and they want to see NHL players, not f***in boring and average Kovarcik or Beranek, they can watch those every year for 10bucks whenever Vary comes to town lol.

Its this enough for the reasons?

No. As I said multiple times, the fact somebody has been playing in the NHL has absolutely zero value for me. The coaches need to evaluate the players based on their performance with the team, not the league they spent the season in.

And what you just described has zero value to me and is completely stupid approach which doesnt work imo. So lets just agree we disagree and not further comment on this. At the end we wont change anything and its up to Rulik what he decide.
