Jacksonville has to do it, right? The only reason left not to is believing this staff can lose out and that’s what you want.

If I am a young, ambitious coordinator, no way in hell I am even considering Cowboys.
Honestly though, given the openings, which ones are good?
Jets and Saints fired their HC. Neither is a great option given Rodgers could retire and leave a hole at QB or he returns and he you to work with him and his desires. Carr is mid.

Other potential openings:
Chicago, Giants, Raiders, Jags. Giants/Raiders depends on where they finish this season and whether they can be in position to draft a QB. Chicago and Jax, can you fix the QB in Caleb and Lawrence?

GM chose Z. Wilson. Though, none of the other QBs that draft have done anything either. Lance, Fields, Jones. Meh.... Only thing looking back was to have taken the SF offer of 3 firsts, which Miami did.

2 seconds and 2 thirds for half seasons from Adams/Reddick and 18 games out of ARod due to his injury and no playoffs. Plus more dead cap in 2025. ARod has $49 mill of dead money if he doesn't return (though it could be reduced if he retired. Reddick is $4.3 mill and Adams is $8.3 mill in dead money. Over $61 mill of cap charges for these 3 to still hit the books.

Per over the cap, if these 3 are pre-June 1 cuts (Adams is due $36 mill base so needs to restructure or get cut).
