Is he actually a good coordinator or he’s just a product of Andy Reid? Reid’s coaching tree is an extension from the Bill Walsh coaching tree.

Reid’s disciples have gone to become good NFL coaches but this guy is sorta ass.
He's only a RB coach so i guess we'll find out

That is interesting. Chip ran that uptempo Offense at Oregon and Philly. I assume something similar at UCLA. Imagine he had to tone that down as the OC at OSU (didn't watch much OSU).

Can't imagine Pete would want to run that same style with LV. As a Defensive HC, he knows the importance of giving the D some rest between possessions.

I'm just glad they didn't hire Darrell Bevell.
Interesting combo for sure. Defensive HC, who believe in running the ball and playing good Defence. Meaning, offence needs to move the ball and take some time off the clock for the D to rest to and hopefully create negative plays or turnovers.
With an OC, who has been about pace and tempo in his career as a coach. It was all about the Offense for Chip.

Pete is the boss, so going to see a change from Chip on this one.

He isn't a good coordinator. When he had the chance to call plays in Washington, he didn't do very well. Strictly a product of Reid.

UCLA was more than happy to see him leave.

Unless Pete's year away from the game allowed him to see the game from a different direction and he wants a more dynamic offense.
