He really doesn’t imo. He just doesn’t really process the game that way, much more probably going to be a toolsy 3C type who can pot like 20 goals in a good season

Obviously anyone can surprise but id be shocked if his offensive hockey IQ improved THAT much. PLD is what id consider his likely ceiling
Haven't seen Boisvert but in general it is next to impossible to accurately evaluate the potential of a 17-year-old who plays a power forward game.

Powers talks up Nick Lardis

But when it comes to the future, no player may have done as much to build expectations as Lardis in recent weeks. What Lardis has shown with his shot, quickness and hockey IQ in the last two weeks has Chicago management even more excited for his eventual NHL arrival.

Also, this bit

Slaggert has been one of the more impressive young players so far in camp. He just looks so dialed in. He’s been active offensively and defensively. It helps that he’s producing. We’ll see if he can beat someone else out, but he may make it a difficult decision.

Lardis is IMO one of the high ceiling-low floor kind of guys that the Hawks need to take more chances on in the 2nd/3rd round. They are more likely to never amount to anything but if they do can be a legit scoring threat.

Charlie Roumeliotis on X today said the Dach Nazar Lardis line was the best line of the scrimmage today playing a lot ofcthe scrimmage vs. The Foligno Dickinson Mikheyev (allegedly our 3rd line) ...interesting..

Also we have only gotten a couple of "nice looks" but apparently no finish from Bedard ...Has he gone through alk rge scrimages do far without scorong?

That should be concerning if itvis the case...afterxall he is only playong agaibst other Blackhawks...

If he had scored you woukd think the media would be highlighting his goal or goals...butcso far nobody has shown anything Generational from hom ....

Vets takibg increase?

I guess we gotta wait for pre-season games vs. The opps to find out anything..

You cannot realky tell in training camp as the locked upbspits guys can ease up and the talent without a spit has little chance so tgey play harder (in meaningless scrimnafes).

Example in the scrimmages so far Nobody has singled out $9.5 or Murphy as looking realky great (for a change)
.I guess the vets with slits locked up are just cruising..

It is no surprise really that the Dach Nazar Lardis line would look impressive in a no-hit game of shinny. I'll just leave it at that, other than to say they may be a potential 1st or 2nd line in RFD.

Lardis looked pretty good last year. A year older in juniors and hoping he really breaks out. I am a fan.
