He really doesn’t imo. He just doesn’t really process the game that way, much more probably going to be a toolsy 3C type who can pot like 20 goals in a good season

Obviously anyone can surprise but id be shocked if his offensive hockey IQ improved THAT much. PLD is what id consider his likely ceiling
Haven't seen Boisvert but in general it is next to impossible to accurately evaluate the potential of a 17-year-old who plays a power forward game.

Powers talks up Nick Lardis

But when it comes to the future, no player may have done as much to build expectations as Lardis in recent weeks. What Lardis has shown with his shot, quickness and hockey IQ in the last two weeks has Chicago management even more excited for his eventual NHL arrival.

Also, this bit

Slaggert has been one of the more impressive young players so far in camp. He just looks so dialed in. He’s been active offensively and defensively. It helps that he’s producing. We’ll see if he can beat someone else out, but he may make it a difficult decision.

Lardis is IMO one of the high ceiling-low floor kind of guys that the Hawks need to take more chances on in the 2nd/3rd round. They are more likely to never amount to anything but if they do can be a legit scoring threat.
