Well…thanks to Denver (and KC) for eliminating Cincinnati.

Many teams thank you.

Nobody points it out but it isn’t just KC resting starters that led to that route. One team game planned for a must win game. The other installed a preseason plan of not doing anything and not wasting energy scheming to stop anything.

Still a good year for Denver to get this far with that dead money and a rookie QB. Nix certainly flashed a lot. So they have to feel good after the sting wears off.

Next weekend in Buffalo:

40 to 45 percent chance of snow. Between 25 and 35 degrees.

KC did exactly what a #1 seed should have done: not taken any chances.

The problem is it can cause you to be rusty. Philly basically has not played a meaningful game in a month so it'll be interesting to see if they look bad today.

Yeah I think we have enough evidence at this stage to suggest that KC knows what they are doing with regards to playoff preparation.

I was praying for Nix to make me a believer

Still don’t think he is the guy

Big offseason for him
There's only so much a rookie QB of a clearly overmatched team, on the road to boot, can do.

He didn't look worse than Justin "Top 5 QB in the NFL" Herbert did yesterday.

Believe you me, I am littered over the chargers Houston thread calling herbert overrated

I just don’t believe in Nix

Not sure what more you wanted to see from him today.

If it weren't for several drops by his receivers he'd have something like 16/17 completions on 22 throws.

Not his fault Peyton refuses to do anything but run the ball and do dumb screen plays all game.

Nix was one of the only players to show up for the Broncos today.

Look how not open anyone is on the 4th and 1 touchdown. And Allen isn’t going to get to the sticks running. This is a “defense won every rep and still got beat” play. Reminiscent of the Allen TD run to put away KC. Perfect D call. Every thing they want to do is gone. Sometimes a player makes the play anyway
