Not sure why teams keep pushing the envelope with these crazy go for the end zone plays on 4th downs

I'm a little surprised they didn't line up shotgun and then shift to the QB sneak to try to mix up the broncos personnel.

I also think the original plan was either an Allen boot to run for a yard or a quick pass over the middle, but the Broncos played it well. Then it was just scramble drill after that.

Like I said…go for it. Go for all of it. When they let Allen wear the cape he can fly.

That is a TOUCHDOWN in capital letters. What an impossible catch. And he’s celebrating as he’s sliding!

That play only happens because Bass misses too often and the Broncos contained Allen who wanted to run. And because McDermott had some balls…though the Bass factor helps that. If he was guaranteed to make it he’d have kicked because it’s a 2 score lead. But would he make it?

Hard to see how Denver makes it back without getting turnovers.

Great playcalling to go down by 14 near the end of the third quarter and then come out and run two straight inside runs so you have third and medium.

I feel as if a 5, 6 or 7 seed has not won a game in years nor even made one close

Payton is in a tough spot of wanting to make things easier on a rookie QB and needing to turn him loose before it’s too late. That last drive starting with two runs is trying to do the former…but it’s getting late. I suspect we’ll get more Bo unleashed now that we’ve hit the 4th quarter. But they need to stop any kind of score here or it may be a drive too late. Unless they can start forcing turnovers.
