Another assist. It’s laughable michkov was ever considered better by some. Demidov is a sure fire superstar the biggest question is can we acquire a top six centre to put with him and Laine next year and maximize both of their abilities.
You know, it’s possible to enjoy that we drafted Demidov, without referencing Michkov.

One has nothing to do with the other, it’s bad enough we refer to him every time we talk about Reinbacher, but this just screams of insecurity.

Who cares if Michkov is or isn’t better.

Holy f*** I actually managed to catch the second half this guy is fantastic. Could've had 2 or 3 more points. We could have a 100 pt player finally

He's up to 3.91 PTS/ 60 Mins.

Huge numbers for a U20 player in the KHL.

He is now 35th in KHL scoring, while averaging 11:26 TOI. Nobody else in the top 50 is averaging less than 15:00 TOI.

What he is doing for a teenager in the KHL with so little TOI up to today, is completely unprecedented.

If I got this right he needs 13 points in 8 games to beat Michkov KHL D+1 season.

It would be nice, but for me that's not as important as they're two completely different players, but also they have been used in 2 completely different ways with one getting way more ice time (including a lot of PP time) early in the season playing for a much weaker team and the other one having to work his way up the lineup and earn every minute he gets.

12 in 8 but basically it’s Rottenberg playing with the spigot that always decided how close or how far he is from the record. Demidov has little control. He’ll beat it if Rottenberg wants him to beat it.

The Sharks are fine with Celebrini.
Celebrini might be having the best first season for a #1 since McDavid. It’s funny how he was under the radar compared to Bedard. It turns out we might have misjudged the relative strength of the top of the 2023 and 2024 drafts.

I watched a lot of both Celebrini and Demidov. I’m very biased but I prefer Demidov. They’re certainly not far off each other. Celebrini has a more classic style. Demidov is much more of an stylistic oddity.
