What is going on!? Seriously, what's happening!?

We managed to get a generational talent, with a bulldog mentality and a hard working consume hockey 100% of the time mentality who also happens to ooze charisma.

The hockey gods were smiling on the habs that day. If there was player born to play here it’s Ivan demidov.

OK, but what is happening in the game? LOL...

interesting to know what transpired for him to be playing on the 1st line. Hughes worked his magic?

what a goaaaaal.
Kuznetsov got injured long term, but Rotten kept Demidov with Plotnikov. So either Plotnikov asked to play with Demidov, or Hughes managed to convince Rotten that he (Rotten) would look much better if Demidov was a KHL star before he is an NHL star so he can take credit in developping him...

No matter what happens this season - mix or no mix, good or meh pick, whatever... Just remember:

He's coming.
That's exactly why I am not panicking about the 'rebuild'. Our top prospect and eventual franchise player is not yet on the team. It's basically like watching the Sharks without Celebrini or the Hawks without Bedard. The talent level of the kid will improve the habs top 6 massively as soon as next season.

Thank you Trevor Timmins, we endured your picks for way too long but you made sure to pick a physical beast with a bad back so we could get Demidov.
To be fair it was the Beckett Sennecke pick that did it for us Pat Verbeek is the one to thank.
That back was not supposed to be an issue and Lindstrom went where most people thought he would.
Not that I was for drafting a kid with back problems.

Not like I'm complaining but I prefer to see some one timers and snips from outside the hash marks. Something he can work on moving forward so I guess I'll enjoy the show for now.
It sounds like complaining is EXACTLY what you're doing. Only on this board could we be discussing a 5th overall pick that has potentially generational talent, and you're whining because he scored some goals from too close to the goalie. Unreal.

I am evaluating without being gullible. Sorry about that and how that makes you feel.
