He's leaving next year though so why not cash in now? On second thought, they would have the contract issues to deal with. Oh well, it was a good dream while it lasted.I’m betting on SKA playing him

Like I said, I personally think the best option for him is to play with SKA. He will get pro experience and I don’t think the NHL is the best fit for him this yearHe's leaving next year though so why not cash in now? This new isn't official, and I would take it with a mega grain of salt.It was very odd of Hughes to have talked about Demigods contract situation the way he did … starting to make more sense…. I take it Molson is “negotiating” Demigod’s release from final contract year…
Has Bobrov who knows him very well, ans spent time with him last yer, spoken about this yet??Like I said, I personally think the best option for him is to play with SKA. He will get pro experience and I don’t think the NHL is the best fit for him this year
Going from the MHL to the NHL is a real big step, probably too big in just one jump. Playing half a season in Laval would make for an easier transition.
That's why he should play in the AHL, every games will be close to sold out, good money for Geoff Mol$onLike I said, I personally think the best option for him is to play with SKA. He will get pro experience and I don’t think the NHL is the best fit for him this year
I prefer to see him in the KHL, better caliber. That's why he should play in the AHL, every games will be close to sold out, good money for Geoff Mol$on
in the KHL you're not sure he's going to play good minutes per game. Better to play 20 minutes in the AHL than 12 in the KHL I would thinkI prefer to see him in the KHL, better caliber.
As long as he plays there. Another year in the MHL or playing 5 minutes a night in the KHL is basically a wasted year of development unless he pulls a Suzuki and only focuses on other areas of his game.Personally, I don’t have any problem with him playing with SKA this season
If they keep him, I don’t think it will be to play him under 12 minutes but I could be wrongin the KHL you're not sure he's going to play good minutes per game. Better to play 20 minutes in the AHL than 12 in the KHL I would think

But...
Remember at the Florida Russian Combine, when they interviewed him... he could answer all the questions but not the one about his contract situation, he had to discuss with his interpret, and Brobov was present and said Demidov asked if he had to answer the question. It just felt weird. I don't recall who reported this, maybe Basu?
I'd start up a GoFundMe page if that would help grease the palms, I mean wheels, and get this thing moving right along...They would definitely make back whatever they had to pay to get him in a hurry.
Agree….but Laval would be a great fit, moreso given he turns 19 in Dec & can benefit greatly working directly w Nicholas, Pellerin, Byron etc.Like I said, I personally think the best option for him is to play with SKA.
