not if they sign Mike Ribeiro!Demidov lost his center...oh no!
That's actually good, Kuzy sucked.

After medical tests, we've discovered that Evgeny Kuznetsov's injury is quite serious. Roughly two months are required for Kuzy to return to action. We have put together a detailed recovery plan, Evgeny will work with our doctors and physical conditioning coaches at every stage of the process. We won't rush matters - SKA and the entire league need a healthy Kuzy, who will be able to show 100% of his capabilities. Evgeny is the best player in the KHL, he's a leader of our team both on and off the ice. I have no doubt that fans of all KHL teams will be waiting for Evgeny to return. Of course, his absence is a big loss for us, but, as I said yesterday, all of our guys played for Kuzy, the victory against Severstal is for him and we will continue to win for him. I sincerely wish Evgeny health and a speedy recovery, we're waiting for him to return to the ice!
I saw the highlight of his 4th goal. Guy passing to him and Demi lifts stick of defender so defender doesn't deflect puck away and then Demi resets stick to tip in the pass. I'm at a loss at the reflexes and vision to do that.
He's confident in his abilities, look at this pass at 7:40 that leads to 2 great chances to score,
Thanks for that! Appreciate it. I feel another thing working against demidov and I believe has been mentioned is he's not getting PP time and michkov got much more so likely 5on5 p/60 is probably an even bigger gap in favor of demigodI had to calculate the p/60 manually so it might not be 100% accurate, the KHL website has a lots of stats but not that one. Michov TOI/g was 16:58 last year, while Demidov is at 13:08 right now.
Demidov in 9 games: 0.778 p/g and ~3.589 p/60
Michkov last year in 48 games: 0.854 p/g and ~3.014 p/60
Demidov p/60 would probably drop if he played a bit more thought.
Yep, Demidov gets about 1m of PP time per game. Michkov was near 3 minutes last year. Thanks for that! Appreciate it. Thanks again

1:08 svg pp TOI according to the KHL own website, but if you look at it from a game to game basis (https://en.khl.ru/players/40667/). The lowest is 0, highest is 2:35.do you have the #'s on that cause he rarely gets PP time, last game it was 0:11 PP time. I can find it but I would have to look it up by game so if you had the totals
We could use him right about now. I’m not kidding. Desperately.

Like a dog needing to go outside, and being ignored..I was pacing in my basement between picks 4 and 5. Embarrassing.
If Laine is out for an entended period of time (which he is expected to be), is buying Demidov's contract and bringing him oversea feasible?
I would consider it fairly closely right now.
I know it sucks to lose Laine for a big chunk of the season, but we shouldn't have a kneejerk reaction about it and just let things play out.
Let's see how Roy and others manage things on the second line with Dach and Newhook, and go from there.
As far as Demidov goes, let me just say that although I'm not a fan of Rotenberg's usage of him the icetime/deployment Demidov currently gets is pretty par for the course as far as KHL rookies go.
But watching his games it's pretty clear that Demidov is learning the ropes playing every game against pro-level competition.
The main thing though is that I see some positive signs of development from him each game, and as long as that continues I feel that you just have to let him play his season out there.
So yeah, patience is key here. Sorry to be the bearer of slow/boring news but it is what it is.

Sure seems that way. This team is cursed.Don’t bring him over, he’ll blow out both his knees and his shoulder in the first game running into bench door or something f***in stupid.
