Not to be a Debbie Downer, but it's worth noting that he is in the same esteemed company as Leivo and Jurco. Talented for sure, but may want to temper expectations somewhat.
Yeah, but, imagine if you sent Jurco or Leivo to the CHL or NCAA. They would absolutely rip those leagues apart too, likely more than the KHL since they're playing against 18-22 year olds and not grown men.

And on the opposite end of things we may also want to raise expectations somewhat. Kucherov only put up 5pts in 18 games as an 18 year old in the KHL. Atramonov has 19pts in 20 games. So basically at this trajectory we’re expecting Artamonov to be 3X better than Kucherov the rest of the way.

Ovechtricks vs the Lightning for the rest of time? Yes please

Larionov seems like such a good coach to have around younger guys like this
100%. We got lucky he is playing for such a good coach to embolden his young player, encourage him, and give him some leeway. There's a really fine line to walk with young skilled players to give them time to develop (i.e. don't Nino Niederreiter them to the 4th line with 5 minutes playing time), and also giving them some accountability so that they aren't a defensive trainwreck but seeing ice time whenever they want.

There's also the matter that he gets more playing time than most KHL teams would allow, and that his team isn't so good he isn't 12th on the totem pole offensively.
