him and fif are generational trolls on this board

also doesn't bwc have a thing for eastern european players too, him not being a fan of lev goes against the standard so its not just hating to hate
BWC isn't a troll. Those opinions are his actual opinions, he's just slanted negatively for some unfortunate reason. Regardless there's no need to be mean to regulars in our weird little internet fan club here on HF

Lev is very good at zone entry; this is likely one of the reasons Chicago picked him at 2. Again, he's got a bunch of tools. While I don't agree with the pick you cannot deny he's got talent.

Also a good reminder, I guess, to be cautiously optimistic with all of the first round picks the Hawks have.
People talk about you need hits on your deeper picks. The only Avs picks of their Cup winners were all 10th overall or lower. Of course they had a lot of trade pieces that were big like Devon Toews or Girard

Is he called up effective today or not until the break starts? Looks like if it is as of today he'd miss 7-8 games for Rockford he could have played.

Seems like an odd decision to make in February, but I'm not going to claim to know which path over only 2-3 weeks is better for him.

Hard to believe NHL player Tyson Jost was a 10th overall.
Should be a sobering reminder how many former high-end draft picks fizzle out to be very little by the end of their pre-UFA years. Still remember when all the buzz was about Jost at the U18s in the buildup to that draft.

That draft in particular was pretty bust happy. Puljujarvi, Juolevi, A. Nylander, Jost, Logan Brown all in the first 11 picks.
