Only if he comes along with prime Byfuglien. He would not be an improvement on Stanley. How about bringing in Ben Chiarot?
This year and 1 more left at 4.75 mill.
Left shot.

still rather get a legit 2c, names can have stretches of good play but can't do it reliably enough to be a full time top 6 centerAnyone else getting the "don't f*** with what ain't broken" vibes?
Upgrade 3LHD, see what's out thenre for a middle 6C
Names looked amazing tonight. Lowry gives us a big bump when he's back
Who's out there though?still rather get a legit 2c, names can have stretches of good play but can't do it reliably enough to be a full time top 6 center
ATM maybe, but when it happens I'm not so sure
brock nelson/ryan o'reilly could be available both would be major upgrades maybe someone like zacha becomes available if boston keeps strugglingWho's out there though?
I'd rather notn give up a 1st for a guy to play 2C who isn't really an upgrade
Agree.still rather get a legit 2c, names can have stretches of good play but can't do it reliably enough to be a full time top 6 center
I think there will be an add at defense for sure. Not sure Jets will trade more than picks to upgrade. The why is that I think we still have holes that we need to fill. Hockey trades can take different forms, but I'm mostly wanting Chevy to pursue players with term and I'm willing to pay the price for that.
Isles are now 3 points up on the Rags. Beat the Lightning tonight. Creeping up on the WC while missing their top 2 RD. Patrick Roy seems to have them going. If close I would expect the Isles to hold on to Nelson.brock nelson/ryan o'reilly could be available both would be major upgrades maybe someone like zacha becomes available if boston keeps struggling
Yeah the isles are playing really well, Lou is also a delusional old coot so I don't expect him to be selling much if at all, I also don't see ROR happening for us especially after their GM came out saying he had an invisible NMC.Isles are now 3 points up on the Rags. O'Reilly seems like a guy who would be pissed about moving his family to Winnipeg to pay more taxes at this point of his career.
I still think Brayden Schenn might get traded. Blues are stuck in the mud.
I also don't think Chevy is targeting slower skaters the way the team's skating centers are difference makers in multiple areas of the ice.
I think the problem is Comrie as the starter vs. a backup.were 4-7-1 because we haven't scored much with him in net, who is available that is putting up above league average results?
The Jets back the truck up for Connor. You don't let such a prolific, consistent scorer like that go, especially one that wants to be here.KFC is going to make more than 10m from the Jets or someone else and frankly he in todays NHL he deserves it.
Jansen Harkins? If he came packaged with someone else from the Pens (wink wink), I'd consider absorbing that.
That's the beauty of having a one shot scorer. Teams have to protect against Connie shooting which pulls them out of structure.I’d imagine the pp goes through Connor as soon as they are in the other team’s end. Someone who does stats would have to correct me, but, seems like kc gets the most touches and qbs the thing.
It’s generally kc to someone else back to kc. It’s how he is the leading point scorer on the pp.
Last game I counted a sequence where kc touched it 4 times and everyone else once which seemed like the norm.
100%, if the Jets can't or wont back the truck up for him they you might as well load the truck up and move to another city. You don't let a superstar like that leave and be serious about winning,The Jets back the truck up for Connor. Tough to blame whole game on one play. The coaches really like Stan despite the flack he gets on here and I highly doubt he comes out or they trade for his replacement. Is there a player out there that makes a better pairing with him then Miller?I think there will be an add at defense for sure. Not sure Jets will trade more than picks to upgrade.
Up front is tricky. If the team to beat in the Central is Dallas I was at the game where the fans ran Oettinger out of the net. Followed the matchups closely.
Lowry shut down Hintz. Scheif beat Duchene. Namestnikov outplayed Johnston. Some say the Granlund trade is to replace Seguin on Duchy's line. So the matchups still hold. Ceci is an upgrade on.Dumba. And the Jets I believe only lost in Dallas by a late goal, caused by Logan Stanley getting benched.
Jets beat Colorado by matching up Lowry-Ehlers. Beat them without Lowry.
Beat Minnesota every which way.
Should have beat Vegas, without Samberg at home. Invisible penalty.
Vegas on the road I think there was a costly Stanley play in there.
Edmonton was a cake walk on the road, same centers.
Now I wonder what Chevy thinks. Does he disrupt all the lines, which have worked for the most part, to try something new.
Last year that led to a 7 game losing streak before an 8 game win streak. Hayes trade iced Little completely.
You can see on the bench a lot of communication between players, which is healthy.
Maybe Chevy just adds depth pieces, and gives the room their chance. Last chance to win together, because that's the way they've come to believe in each other.
There's a lot of moves that could be costly and go sideways. I'm not sure any trade in the West yet has Chevy overly concerned. It will be interesting to see who comes out of the lineup if someone goes in.
Colorado still scares me if Nichushkin comes back and plays the same way as last year.
But, since 64 won’t come out I imagine they look for an improvement on Miller, by trying to get a d who is faster and turns puck over less.I think we are good enough with Vlad at the 2C. He is underestimated here.
Maybe focus on a solid Dman. The biggest chance to improve is putting 64 on the bench.
Now, if we could upgrade a forward in a significant way like a Barzel, I’m for that, but let’s not try to fix what isn’t broken
I really think Ville should be the guy. That dynamic should work especially if Heinola keeps developing his exits at this level.Tough to blame whole game on one play. The coaches really like Stan despite the flack he gets on here and I highly doubt he comes out or they trade for his replacement. Is there a player out there that makes a better pairing with him then Miller?

If helly goes down , we are done no matter who else is back thereI think the problem is Comrie as the starter vs. a backup.
If God forbid Helle went down i think we'd need to find an established guy who could platoon.
