Chevy team still needs upgrades.
Stanley to the PB, replace him.
2C needs to be upgraded, multi options out there, get one.
It will be interesting how the team handles the 2C position.
Iafallo-Lowry-Ehlers matched up and won against Macknnon, Rantanen and Makar, that's a pretty high bar for competition. I think statistically Ehlers had a better volume of shots with Lowry than with Namestnikov.
If Lowry is the 2C, then no one is freaking out about Namestnikov, who is still a pretty solid player, I'm impressed how he controls the puck through the neutral zone, but I'd say Schmidt shooting him the face in the playoffs last year has probably made him a little more timid shot blocking, but he still goes out there and battles. He definitely has center smarts positionally to be in good support positions in the defensive zone.
I think Nieddreiter, Iafallo, Appleton are players Arniel definitely trusts in the d-zone, so if you had a more defensive oriented center you could look at moving Lowry up the lineup. Might cost a lot less than 2C hunting at the deadline.
4th line is energy and PK, and there's some option with the way the guys have been playing on that line. Will be hard to take anyone out.
Between now and the trade deadline I think Namestnikov, Perfetti, Kupari and Gustafsson have a chance to prove they can contribute. And probably 2 at least start as reserves come playoff time, if everyone is healthy enough to go.
I rate the Stan effect by a combination of Facebook posts, game day thread laments, trade rumour volume, and in the worst case scenario a discussion in the Stanley thread itself. Can go from quiet to high volume in a hurry.
Only 30 more regular season games left, can you bet the number of games Stan will play on Fan Duel?
