I'd like to see the Jets take a look at Oliver Bjorkstrand.

I think the team is leaning towards Lowry as a top 6 player. It's hard to deny he doesn't have a top 6 impact. I'd say there is little chance that Perfetti goes into the playoffs in a top 6 role, and it's conceivable better defensive players and skaters could start ahead of him in the playoffs. And for me it's not that big of a deal because realistically if he wasn't rushed to the NHL as a 19 year old this year would still be an ELC year for him.

But Bjorkstrand has some decent numbers, and that chemistry with Ehlers is possible going back to the Junior days. I think it would be the kind of move that could maybe convince Nik to stay another year as he prepares for his first Olympics. Lowry likes to have a RH shot on his wing. And I think you could make some argument that the 2nd PP would have more options with a RH forward.

The offensive and defensive statistics for Nino, Namestnikov, Iafallo and Appleton are probably good enough to compete with other 3rd lines in the West if the Jets change their approach.

1st + Heinola + ?

For Laughton and Risto @50%

Connor - Scheifele - Vilardi
Ehlers - Lowry - Iafallo
Perfetti - Laughton - Nino
Barron - Names - Appleton

Morrissey - Risto
Samberg - Pionk
Stanley - DeMelo
Still rather have Miller (offside) or Fleury ahead of Stanley.

What pairing is Ristolainen on in Philly? I don’t know that he immediately supplants DeMelo.

You might rather, but, more realistically I think Flappy’s line up is more likely what they’d do.
