United really do have a habit of not showing up for home games after a club legend has passed away. Been going on since SAF days. Hardly ever win on Munich memorial days either.

I don't recall anyone mentioning something like that when United bought him.

Im sure there were others. He's trash always has been, united got duped into shelling out big money for him.

And I've read their system also utilized Onana's ball playing ability really well.
Yeah I mean Onana does all the flashy stuff well. He isn’t great at the basic stuff. And yeah if they are patient with Amorim (and him) they might get there eventually; but it’s not shocking Onana is all over the place without being able to hide behind catennacio. Every game with Onana it’s like they flip a coin pregame to see which version you get
Still too many average or below average players.
Patience is the only thing that gets United back into contending for major titles at this stage

A lot to unpack from that game.

Very possible that Ange doesn't survive this. Feels like players have turned on him.

Might be both Son's and the club's best interest to part ways in the summer.

Maddison is pathetic. I don't think he should be part of any leadership group.

Dragusin not good enough.

Hey, at least Mikey Moore looked great once he came on.

The thing is that early season he was actually playing well. Was tied for most clean sheets at one point. And just on Thursday made crucial saves in the first half. But then out of nowhere comes stuff like today. And Bayindir's only benefit is that he's taller. He's just as much a questionmark on crosses and corners.

Right. It’s a coin flip. He’s like Forrest Gump’s box of chocolates/ you never know what you’re gonna get

The young players have all looked pretty good. I don’t really like the idea of sacking Ange because it’s becoming a revolving door, but sending these kids out to fail week after week is not good for their development.

I'm not sure what you think there was to support your claim...

How do you let Fidel take a touch that close in.

He’s been on fire after a slow start

They won't. They'll spend the next 3-4 windows buying players for Anorim's system then sack him and leave a new manager with a completely different set-up with a bunch of players ill-suited for him. And so on...
You’d think the cycle would come to an end?

You just can’t read. “Onana sucks guys”

“ it would be a horrendous move sporting wise”
First off, your comments were from 2020. United bought him in 2023... 2nd, all les Habs said was:
  • Ter Stegen is negotiating a new deal so you get these sorts of rumors. That said in a non-COVID-19 market getting big money for him and getting Onana cheaper isn't bad business. Of course I wouldn't do it.
Onana wouldn't be bad business, also in 2020 by the way, but prefers Ter Stegen staying.

Yes onana was ass from the start.

And read my reply to him.

What makes you think the new sporting leadership would do that?

Yes onana was ass from the start.

All you said was:

As for MAtS for Onana it maybe a good financial move but it would be a horrendous footballing decision and ultimately that's what should matter most.

And my point was that no one was saying Onana sucks WHEN United bought him in 2023.
