I imagine if a guy like Kunin gets traded, Graf will take his spot and Goose gets a last chance in the top 6.
Glad to see Muhk back. I wanted to say - after reading some past posts about him - that people are underestimating a fairly serious injury that can take a while to get back from. And not just get back from, but also to get up to high end play.
It’s possible it’s nagged him through the season, or that he’s been tentative because it isn’t 100%, or they just see that he needed to overcome it before he was used in a real capacity in the A. There are mitigating factors, I’m not sure they’ve soured on him or anything yet.
Hopefully he comes out over the last bit and earns a spot once and for all.
As I've said a few times here, it's better to find out where they stand now so they can plan accordingly in the offseason than just assume they need more time in the A

Yeah I’m just saying it’s possible he was still not physically there for some time. Glad he’s getting a chance now.
He was stellar in Friday's game against Henderson.
My main concern with him is still that he's not very strong on his skates. For such a tall guy, he gets knocked down way too easily.

Third pairing left-side defenseman to first pairing right-side defenseman seems like a strange way to do it, but then I don't possess the advanced hockey knowledge to perceive all the leadership and intangibles Goodrow provides, so I guess we'll just see how it goes
Oh, it's going to go poorly but it was going to go poorly regardless. At least Mukhamadullin and Thompson get a little more experience in the NHL. The team just needs to get through the rest of the season as best as they can.

Pots is great in the AHL but I don’t know about a mentor role in the NHL. That is his role with the Cuda. My guess he will but up for the next 2 games and then be sent down in time for the next Cuda game.

Why hasn’t Poturalski ever managed to stick in the NHL? I’m always curious about why such good AHL players can’t make the transition.
