GDT: 2024-25 Season game 79 LA Kings vs Colorado Avalanche @1:00pm 4/12/25

I think the payoff in the NHL is huge though. I feel like being unpredictable opens up ice regardless of rink size. Its funny how they dont have that ability. You look at McDavid and he's not a deceptive player at all, but his edge work and acceleration loses the shadowing player easily. If McDavid had some European flair. watcccch out.
For certain - it's a double-edged sword.

Fiala is an incredibly gifted player. His dynamism and unpredictability is fun to watch. However, it's also a blocker for structure and team play.

When Fiala's used as a finisher is when he's at his best. While he moves the puck well, he often has unforced turnovers.

Ultimately I just think care needs to be exercised.

Kuz has been the huge shot in the Arm the Kings have needed big time...makes guys like Kempe and Fiala and Byfield that much more dangerous...Lets Go Kings!!!

Most players with his unique ability to make the difficult look easy don't also have soooo much trouble with making the simple so damn difficult.

Burroughs loses his check and bumps Darcy on his way to pick him back up after taking two braindead unforced penalties in p1

Lewis is unplayable but Burroughs is literally negative impact shift after shift

He’s been the worst dman I can ever remember in a Kings sweater, zero redeeming qualities except being a nice guy

Would be really encouraging if the Kings could manage to win against this depleted team.

It’s looking like a continuation of the oilers and seattle games, the ducks game in the middle being a slight exception

Been really worried about the process down the stretch, some awful teams are providing a really easy playbook for shoving the Kings into a locker

In his defense, almost everybody jumped into the same lane and didn't give him much of an option. He was expecting somebody to hit the breaks there.
be nice if Fiala could get some of his DNA and visa versa

Setting up for a really funny storyline down the stretch where the Kings blow it today then get absolutely pounded by McDavid on Monday getting an ever sharper psychological edge going into the playoffs while the Kings tumble to third
