GDT: 2024-25 season game 73 LA kings vs San Jose Sharks @7:00pm 3/30/25

Who here has season tix? I would assume from the passion about how the org should be ran and what they 'owe' to you, I would assume there are a lot.
Since 2001-02. Obviously means that my opinion is more important than most everyone on this site as it relates to the Kings.
It was a 24 ounce tall can of Coors Light and they brought it to my seat. Unfortunately, they didn't add an egg. I usually bring my own stuff but I didn't feel like drinking whiskey last night and just wanted a beer. I think it was about $40 for the beer and a wetzel's prezel.
Bumping up on $60 for a double tequila soda. If I can buy a bottle and still have some change in my pocket for the same price in the real world--better tequila at that--then we've officially gone crazy on these prices. My most expensive seat is $44.50, for comparison.

I reverted back to my early days and brought my own in this past Saturday. They still got me for $12.50 on a small bottle of Topo Chico, but a big win over that ~$60 double.

Oh is the fandom and worthiness based on season tickets being trotted out again?

Kevin Lowe also thought that was a great way to view and treat fans: Kevin Lowe: “We have two types of fans.”

Go ahead and ask Oilers fans how much they like Lowe and that ignorant attitude.

What else are these guys going to do but go down the path where they question peoples fandom based on things like season ticket status or where people choose to live?

What else are they supposed to do, have an intelligent conversation with a fellow fan that might have a different opinion?

Hopefully John Xina will guide the Kings to victory. Just don’t make any comments about Taiwan lol

I had Die Hards when the Kings finished in 29th place. I wasn't Die Hard enough so I eventually got rid of them a few years later. I literally couldn't give the tickets away and when I did a lot of the time the people didn't even go to the game.

I don't know if you went to the draft party at LA Live in 2008 when they drafted Doughty but it was so depressing that I got drunk drinking free margaritas served from a tap. When the draft is the highlight of the year it's pretty depressing!

Now I just buy heavily discounted PR seats midweek and/or against opponents that people apparently aren't interested in. Total sell out!

Said it before, there are a lot of similarities between those Kevin Lowe Oilers teams, and the post Lombardi LA Kings.

Struggles to develop young elite talent, an arrogant front office, no real tangible success, both coached by Todd, bad trades made for good reasons, no real plan or clear vision for the NHL roster, both Lowe and Luc seemingly just hiring their buddies...

Just like that, poof -- the last three years never happened
They weren’t even supposed to be in the playoffs on year 1, yet took it to game 7.

Year 2 was a decent showing, got beat by a better team.

Year 3 was gross, was the year they were supposed to make it past the first round.

Now here we are….if we can manage to get home ice, may just be the turning point.

Just buckle the f*** up and enjoy it. Quit crying.

All three years bounced first round. Got destroyed last year and only made a slight improvement. Expecting anything different goes against reason.

You also said Byfield was a bust…not sure I’m down with your interpretation of reason.

Still have four Die Hard seats and one "regular" one after dropping an additional two "regular" ones I had been carrying since 2015. I pretty much didn't miss a game from 2001-02 until maybe the Kovalchuk season. Only made it to five this year because work has just been too much, and they are 2-2-1 when I go in a season that they've set the record for home wins. But don't worry: I'll be there to guaranty a loss for the playoffs.

I was at that draft "party". I'm a caveman that was very excited about adding Teubert, although I thought they were going to get Myers since he was still there at the Kings pick and was surprised they passed. Thought we had a Marchment type though so I was pretty pleased with how things went. I was only 27 then and me and my boys would go to every game so the four of us had a great run until life and responsibilities took over. Since it was a boys night out, I was able to withstand the suckage of the 2000s and keep the tickets until it finally came together.

Well you think the Kings are a good team despite not making past the first round for how many years? Lol especially when you consider the fact that the Oilers got better too.

They have 91 points in 73 game and have the leagues best home record. That equates to a ‘good’ team. Are you ok?

I think these guys are alter egos of present board members. Just TOO far from reality a nd they post to generate emotion not engagement in discussion.
