GDT: 2024-25 season game 69 LA Kings vs Boston Bruins @6:00pm 3/23/25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

They won with Lewis. You know what that means.

It's exciting that everything is coming together at the right time. It's one thing to start a season strong, it's a completely different thing to finish strong.

Byfield is beating goaltenders with regularity. Now we have a handful of shooters who can beat goalies clean.

All the forwards feel like they're in their proper roles now. Jeannot is a great example. Watching him try and play in the middle six was depressing. Now in his proper 4th line role he's great.

Having two big bangers is better than one.

Sammy and Tanner tag team is doing wonders.

Kings now own the 4th best point percentage in the West.

Byfield with 21 points in 20 games since the start of February.

Gavrikov, Turcotte, and Kuemper the only Kings without a point tonight.

Kuemper with a 84.6% save percentage, but only 2 goals against because the Bruins managed only 13 shots.

Kings made Swayman their bitch.

Swaywan did that with himself with his $8 million per year contract! He's a good goalie, but over payed for what he's done so far.

Turcotte didnt get on the board but he put in some work on the goals from that line.
Coming into the season we were talking about this being a very likable roster. It is good to see it coming together for them and the fans have a lot to cheer for when its rolling.

LMAO Lewis on the 2nd line. I guess it's the least amount of disruption but what the f***?

Also, what a team of p***yes. Sammy has the second most hits on the team... in 36 games. he 5 players around him have played 60+.
That’s the 3rd line now, Danault is now the 3c and it’s debatable now as to who the 1c is.

These GDTs would be a lot more interesting if y'all stopped sounding like a bunch of 14 year old girls doing their best Aubrey Plaza impressions.

It reads like nobody here actually sees what's going on and just wants to hide beneath their sarcasm hoodies hoping their tampons can handle their flow.
If this came from me, I'd be banned for 6 months.

Bravo, great post.

Big question: Just like the bad roads all over LA, how do the Kings fix their road problems?!
It's like Night & Day for them at Home vs. the Road. At home, they are arguably the best team in the NHL. On the road, they are a lottery team. Points for consistency i guess, but just a weird season. with such extremes.
