GDT: 2024-25 season game 68 LA Kings vs Carolina Hurricanes @1:00pm 3/22/25

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

I think it has more to do with him being healthy.

He's a very good middle six forward.
I dissed him earlier in the thread XD but while his stock has fallen a little bit with me I don't disagree at all. He is one of the biggest keys to competitiveness in the postseason if he can stay healthy, shifty, and add some vital depth scoring.

He is playing a different game. More assertive and straight forward. Huge pick up for the playoffs if he keeps playing this way. Looks like he has more strength than he did for the first half the year.

Hope he keeps going. Adding speed in Foegele to that line also helps.
Also hitting the net again. Rewind a few weeks and he was hitting more glass than leather.

I agree completely.

He's a hell of an asset if he is on your third offensive line, where he can play a well rounded game and not in a role where he is heavily counted on to score. People still expect 30 goal Moore, and that is just not happening, it was a classic career year. In the first half of this year Byfield and Fiala were MIA and Kopitar then went stone cold offensively in calendar year 2025, right as Byfield started to come around, so Moore/Danault were still being counted on for "2nd line production". Now that things are in a good spot above since the Kuzmenko trade that line is a real big asset.

I still take a shot (more like a half shot) for every kings goal, rip rest of my day, I'm supposed to go to a party that starts at 9 pm.

I never played another drinking game involving the Kings after January 14th, 2006. Although it's still a good laugh nearly 20 years later.

To be fair, on that last replay...it was pretty obvious Logan's skate kicked up Rittich's stick and the puck went under it.

Tough break for Rittch on that goal because Stankoven's skate did interfere with his stick. I'm guessing the officials didn't have definitive evidence on the replay.

I mean the guy kicked his stick up right where the puck went through. That should be as obvious as it gets.
Agree. I don't see it as petty or ticky tack. That should have been called back. Much more obvious incidental contact than some of the other goals we've seen called back on phantom interference.
