Frock Bock Aber!

Implanted enemy assets here's favorite player.

Fiala was way worth it based on last couple months.

The King's Dr Jekkyl is the road record.

To take advantage and beat Herbisota Wild , a team that has given Kings problem in prior seasons and Blackawks

who beat us previously, couldn't come at a better time.

We are well into the stretch, we need home ice and improved road results against Pacific teams that know how to elevate for the P Offs.

That’s kinda interesting how much he’s struggling and he’s logging 19 mins which is considered excessive when doughty has logged 25 mins on average since returning at his current age. Some players can’t be a work horse and I get that. I thought he looked pretty unimpressive in the 4 Nations tournament as well. I know he’s a good dman but I think it’s only fair that the hype around him subsides if he can’t really elevate his play to a number 1 dman level for a season.

Funnily enough I can bring up Fiala as an example. Moustache Fiala was extremely underwhelming and now clean shaven Fiala has been amazing. Fiala wasn’t gelling at all until the 4 nations so you can’t say he’s had a great season and overlook the months where he struggled a lot. As happy as I am with Fialas current play, no one can say this was a very good season for him as of yet. And the same thing with Faber, if you’re good for the first half and awful the second half, that good is completely negated.

I think Fialas emergence has a lot to do with Byfield being the only other player in the line up who can hang with Fialas creativity and feed off it. There’s a reason why Fiala hasn’t really ever gelled with anyone but Byfield seems like a great player for him to build from and vice versa. They have both helped each other a lot. I do feel that Fiala will improve.

On the Faber note, I think if Faber doesn’t end up really improving his stamina then he’s going to become more and more Jeckyll& Hyde type player. Stamina only gets worse as you get older and he should be in peak conditioning in this point of his career.

No double posting guy!

He is fine he had a good run playing over his head.

Now they are just trying to make excuses.

We have seen how people from that area of the country are, first hand and personal.

He's 5th overall in TOI/GP in t h e entire league. Most players will have some dips in performance and fatigue will be an issue.

Doughty missed most of the season. Makar is a freak of nature. Werenski is having a career year. Sergachev is playing in all special teams, including an additional minute on the powerplay and penalty kill per game.

Minnesota should manage his minutes better, much like how the Kings consistently overplayed Kopitar and Doughty.

Trap game, Minni is desperate and will be scrappy but they're missing a bunch of top players. Faber is basically carrying the work load of that blue line and the cracks are now showing, especially with Brodin constantly out. I'm sure playing in the 4 Nations took its toll on him as well, a lot of the guys that participated got injured.

Every rookie has trouble adjusting to the length if the nhl season (among other things) because theyve NEVER DONE IT BEFORE. Aerobically, faber will adjust his training regimen for endurance and he'll be fine. The fall off wont happen until his mid 30's if then age wise

I wouldn't mind seeing Kuzmenko with Byfield and Fiala. He seems to think the game like Fiala and gets the puck to players when they aren't expecting it. All three players are quick when making moves around the net.

This is wrong. Your aerobic and anaerobic are by far the most efficient in your early 20s and that should also be the most easy to improve. If he’s struggling with workload at his current age then it’s likely he just doesn’t have that extra gear genetically. Your stamina is at its peak in your early 20s and it starts dropping off more around 25. However your physical maturity/strength tends to be at its peak around 25-28. Strength and stamina are two different animals. I could do stuff in my early 20s that I cannot replicate now despite the fact I’m in better shape and train a lot harder in my early 30s

It’s well documented that kids coming from playing 35 NCAA games to 82 NHL games struggle with the workload.
