Don't worry, everyone. The Kings were looking past this game to Montreal tomorrow night... Strangely, not even mildly pissed about the game. Low expectations and all. It looks like they are struggling to adapt to a new system, but, for the life of me, I can't figure out what that system is supposed to be.

I know the defense sucks, but I'd try to trade Gavrikov before the deadline, as well as Fiala. The former is overrated and you're not winning anything with the latter (even though he was credited with a goal tonight). OF COURSE, trade them AFTER BLuc is fired, so the Kings don't get bent over too much.

Yeeesh, glad I missed this one. The pk went from 10 straight kills to giving up 6 in 10.

"King's Hockey" is about defense first style that wins championships. When the team is in the window, sometimes it's difficult to integrate the kids into the roster.

He's playing well in that role, he's looking like he actually could be an effective NHL center, where as most people had him pegged as a winger after all the injuries. Let him keep excelling as a C and don't move him to wing.

Unless you think the Kings should move QB back to wing and have Turcotte play 3C. I don't think the Kings are making any changes to the centers any time soon. It would be an another admission of defeat for BLuc if Byfield is moved back to winger.

I actually wouldn’t be opposed to moving Kopitar to LW or 3C if this season goes sideways over the next few weeks.

Byfield should play the entire season at center. There will be stretches of ups and downs, THAT SHOULD BE EXPECTED. Panicking because we are in fear of putting our first round playoff loss in jeopardy after 4 games is dumb

True, and let's not forget Bergevin in all of this. He absolutely needs to get jettisoned with Blake and Luc.
