Hiller is some kind of matchup savant at home. His home record has to be insane since taking over. Devils outplayed the Kings for some stretches but not many second chances and Kings were clogging the slot from any shots and passes effectively. Gavrikov has been laying out when he has too and nothing gets through.
I like that the Kings skated and pressed a lot instead of sitting back tentatively like they did in New Jersey last time they played.

It was something like 25-6-2 since last season. Kings potentially getting home ice might be the difference this season if they get the Oilers match up again.
