It seems like media pressure has gotten to Hiller judging by the interview right now. He said “If I didn’t put Byfield and Fogele out there you guys would ask me why I didn’t put them on”

Good.

Also, I didn’t know Fogele and Byfield are very good friends and watch videos outside of team meetings to improve their game together.
I think they were very good friends before the acquisition. Don't remember if it's because they met when Byfield began training with McDavid (and Foegele was a teammate) or if just geographical reasons. My memory's spotty on that.

I love all the whining about Byfield celebrating. I would love to post the Yakupov clip on their board, but I'd probably get banned or something. That said, there are a few level-headed fans there. For example:
Yeah but you'd be going out like a god d*** legend.

I actually love that Foegele wants to beat these guys and hes been key to the Kings success this season. Oilers losing him and signing soft guys like Arvi/Skinner might bode well for us come playoffs.

Foegele’s first step speed/quickness is something that the Kings have lacked in the past. I’ve seen him use it to exit the D zone or on entry and this is an area where fast teams would jump all over the Kings in seasons past.

Byfiekd has now scored in four straight home games I've attended. I might need to pony uo for more games.

Its a sweet day when you beat the Soilers and get to watch their fans seethe. I noticed they didn't try to take as many cheap shot liberties now that we have a tougher lineup. Better not pull any bullshit or Jeannot goes straight for McD or Crysaitl. Love seeing Foegele succeed against his old team and watching Byfield take over a game.

Lol see few Oilers fans are in playoff form complaining about refs.

They're 30th in penalties drawn, but also have the third fewest penalties called on them. They're actually 7th in the league in net penalties/60. They get more calls for them than against them, and they're still crying.

The biggest reason I don't want the Kings to play Edmonton again is they have some of the least likeable fans.

Seeing some Oilers comments doubling down on VA being better than Foegele

"It will show in the end"

Hasn't he already missed 10 games? On pace for 26 points, I love RV but the Oilers need to encase him in bubble wrap

What a dick thing to say. Shows that even if you’re on a great team it doesn’t matter if your teammates are full of assholes

I don’t know how many competitive sports teams you have been a part of, but there isn’t a single guy I’ve played with that wouldn’t make that joke at some point.

It’s hilarious, man.

Byfield showed he has another gear and his line mates were right there with him. Heck of a game from him.
Always good to beat the Oilers. Worst fans in the league by a long shot. No one cries more and they get calls in their favor more than most teams.
Dont really want the Kings to play them in the first round but I think it would be a better series than last year.

No one complaining about Byfield now. So who you guys gonna pick on next?
Among Kings who have played at least 20 games, only Jeannot and Lewis have fewer even strength points than Fiala - by just 2 and 3 respectively.

At a -9 for Fiala, if you combine the minus totals of all other players on the roster on that side of the ledger, it only reaches a -4.

Fiala is the biggest problem on the roster.

Fiala has been a dud acquisition, and it’s gonna be nearly impossible to navigate the NMC in order to make a change there.

Blake has been good about moving on from mistakes, but I have a feeling we see Kevin ride out his contract in LA. Which really sucks man.
