embarrassing at this point that no young guy ever sees overtime play yet the Kings are losing constantly. Why so immovable on 3v3 when you’re always losing
I assume Byfield would've got his turn after the Kopitar and Danault lines.

Problem is, we've usually already lost the game before that happens.

That Byfield Goal was a beauty...that's where he needs to park himself in the Slot like Phil Esposito did and made quite a living doing so...all QB needs to do is get more physical he has the build and potential...now just do it!!!

Missing Moore? Team plays better without him.. Should be a Trevor-free roster going fwd : )

Does this team even practice 3 on 3?

The Kings' inability to get points in OT/SO is the difference between them and first place. It's the reason they're trailing the elite teams in the standings right now despite having the second most regulation wins in the league.
Hiller is willing to mix up the regulation lines like a psycho, but seems unable to try anything new in OT...and this goes back to the Koala conservative OT approach. They have nothing to lose to try something more aggressive. Edit: one caveat, no Fiala - im serious he's too stupid for OT

He'll just "blame" it on the special teams coach. Bad PP, Bad OT play...it's all special teams

Kings seem like one of those teams that just say "law of averages." They lost 5 in a row, they'll win the next 5!

Byfield started showing confidence today.

He has excellent vision and playmaking sense, and now his shot is improving.

I know people have been frustrated, but I'm confident he'll eventually put it all together.
Yea he scored that goal and then had a great penalty kill. Gave the team a little juice to squeak out a point at the tail end of a long road trip. These are the things it will take for him to be a real difference maker and eventual leader.

Agree, but I thought he was playing well even before that. Arguably our best player today.

4 points in 4 games.

gotta find ways to win. the kings have sucked during early weekend games as long as ive been watching them, they were lucky to get a point today. they looked lost for 60 minutes

If this team has to win a game offensively, and that is essentially what 3/3 is, they will lose. They just don’t have those types of offensive players.
