Correct me if i am wrong, but byfield is suffering from not playing with kopitar and kempe. I think Kopitar creates a lot more space for the players he plays with.

He just isn’t a very good player. It’s not too deep.

Just watched the highlights since I missed the game. The amount of second chances the ducks had were unbelievable comparatively. I think that dimension is really missing in the Kings. Kings never really crash the net anymore for rebounds which is stupid. Ducks seemed to have many good chances especially in the first period.

Kings defense got beat a loooot yet we somehow won.

mm dont agree. reminds of me the people who were saying kempe was a bust for two years. I just think he is adjusting.

We know his grandfather is from Spain because I interviewed him after the trade and the first thing I asked him was about his last name.

And legendary Soviet hockey player Valeri Kharlamov family background traces to Spain also but doesn't mean he's Spanish he wasn't trained in Spain as a hockey player and neither was Portillo...just saying

Turc's Grandfather(Real Turcotte) is French-Canadian and so is Uncle Jeff Turcotte so that makes Turcotte Canadian? Turcotte is French Canadian American
