This team sucks. Shutout vs Buffalo, 0 for 5 on PP, 0:1 loss. Win 2:1 against Seattle which required Byfield scoring on the PP on an actual shot!!!!! The team does not have enough players that can hit the net.

Love the everyone crashing the net & jamming the shoot button. It worked in NHL '95!

If the team sucks at scoring goals, maybe fix the PP? King's had a decent PP a few years ago. Maybe Blake can figure out what's wrong with this one.

It's fine, 1 point from dropping out of the playoffs. Got plenty of time to figure it out.

Oh yeah, Trade Byfield before the league figures out he's Lewis 2.0. Sorry Lewie.

Edit: Kempe should be moved to D. That's the second open ice hit he's thrown on D. Took that big guy down in epic form. I just want to see Kempe use his skating to light fools up. 😂

Yeah, Kempe playing D has basically gotten this reaction from me:

The fact that you're bitching about other people bitching about PLD is funny. People are still going to bring it up, possibly more now because of this, its some Streisand effect shit. If we can't air our grievances here then where the f*** else should we, reddit?
Not sure what is wrong with you.

This was my only post throughout this thread and you decided to quote me about this matter, did come up with this above, while others are basically bitching.

What a place this has become…

the strangest part of this game was between periods 1 and 2 there was an incredibly bizarre sequence of what looked like a drill team of males dressed in flowing clothes with sashes and scarves swinging long poles in rhythm with pennants attached.
robitaille must have designed this.

In regard to Copley, when he saved the Kings season a couple years ago, his Ontario Reign numbers weren't good either. Rittich has beaten out Copley before, but was flashy good. Rittich is still an inconsistent goalie. Copley has had challenges coming back from a knee injury, as most goalies would probably do so.

Rittich just had his best game of the season.

It gets lost in a sea of complaints here.

Because Bandit just wants to hate/trash talk without using that big spungy canal veiny thing in his head, called the brain!

Look at Brandt, he is not a physical specimen.

Everything he does is cerebral including how he pumps his self up by being a verbal disruptor just like DD.

You whiffed on this one.

Sorry I read this as Brandt Clarke lol.

Ya these guys are like water off a ducks back to me.

Fairly solid. Goaltending 101, if any goalie has multiple scrambles out of crease like Rittich had, it's not a good recipe for steady goaltending. He was somewhat lucky, and as I said against better team than the Kraken the Kings would have blown the 2 goal lead and probably lost the game. As I said to someone else, not a great win but good to see them win. The lack of goal scoring from top offensive players is still a problem. This puts more pressure on Rittich, which is something he's not good at handling over a long stretch of games.

This is too much of a stretch saying block shocks saved him when you are watching on TV. If you were the goal judge sitting in the best seat in the house to

make that judgment.

On top of that you base a lot of your claim on history, which I am not arguing about.

Bottom line Rittich made some big saves and when the Kings needed it to get a one goal win.
Something seems wrong with Danault he was off that entire game, minimal effort, Fiala like decisions...

For sure , looks like a hand injury to me.

I wish I came here before the daily shit show took over.

It sucks when the Kings are treading water but as I said its early.

The new year and into the playoffs is when the lessons will need to have taken hold.

Otherwise the Kings could be a dropout.

I agree with you about the butt hurt thing with LA fans regarding PLD. He is gone now and we should move one. The problem I had from the beginning that it was at the expense of Vilardi. I never wanted to trade Gabe.

Though now many cant move on because of some of the silly arguments throughout HFboards.

* LA did not do their homework
* PLD is playing great for the Caps (pair of goals & assists for $8.5m)
* PLD doesn’t need to score, he is great on the forecheck and along the boards.
* Every Caps fan is happy

That stuff is kinda annoying.

Everything is now ok because Washington is at the top of the standings.

PLD, Vilardi, Faber and everything else going all the way back to Kovalchuk and Desjardins will be discussed and brought up until Blake and Robitaille are finally fired.

THAT is and will be the closure. Until then, all of it is an open wound and we're still living the nightmare. The next one is always just around the corner

I, for one, no longer care about PLD or wtf is going on in Washington. But everyone has their own way of dealing with nightmares.

What about the Jets? What's their record like today without Vilardi, Iafallo, Kupari and instead still stuck with PLD on their roster? Think they are still 15-1 or 17-4?

Could we be saying that Robitaille and Blake did build a Cup contender after-all? I mean, for Winnipeg?
