OK - ill be checking every so often because its just a matter of time for him to leave brown skid marks all over the ice : )
Man you have PLD Deranged Syndrome! Blake's fault and non of the roster wanted to bond with him even before the season started. Caps did their homework and had things in place to welcome PLD. Goes back to coaching. Carbery is a players coach and finds what works from the player and implements them into the lineup. It's not like Hiller that forces his system on the players.

haha.. we all have PLD derangement syndrome and it is dumfuk Bluc's fault still the guy was most brutal player in team history based on what was given up.. Agree re Hiller he is a trashcan coach in the heritage of the Koala.

I didn't come here to rub PLD into you guys faces. In fact, I made some comments based on what I'm seeing from the Kings in this game and how their season has fared so far. I have been saying the Kings have good offensive talent, but don't tap into it because Hiller is handcuffing the team.

Then someone blatantly asked me about PLD.

Deflating miss, though it did hit the goalies stick shaft guarding a wide open net so a bit unlucky too.

Just hope that doesn't bite the Kings in the butt!
It really shouldn’t. Kings have one real game breaker in Kempe. Kraken have zero game breakers close to Juice. I expect a minimum of a 2-0 win vs this competition based on talent alone.

but only 9 goals.. thats pretty bad.
We didn't need him to be scoring goals, as the rest of the team is doing that. PLD has been very good for us along the boards and setting up teammates and been solid on the forecheck.

Okay, my bad. I interpreted that wrong.

OK so he is more a role player in your system getting paid what 8.75m ? Thats pricey right? But I get it, they got some value over hanging on to Kuemper so its a win.

Still like Kuemper over Talbot for the whole season because Talbot fizzled out playing too many games(He's playing well with the Kings, but helps that Lyon takes pressure off Talbot). The issue is Kuemper is back to having the injury bug again, as he wasn't having with the Caps. His health was good, but his performance was under par for a #1 goalie. I still see it as a win/win situation for both teams. Rittich as the #1 now is not sustainable. He has a good GAA, but is SV% is sub .900.

Lot of positives.

Byfield finally may get going.

Rittich solid again.

Hiller gave the blender a break.

Kempe and Kopitar are such great players and often underrated to downright ridickulously disparaged upon.

Tough luck for comrade party members.

2nd IR stint not looking too promising.. he is also sub .900 and worse GAA than Rittich.. I agree he looks better in general than Rittich. This would be a good tandem to go into tank mode with.

I just like to set the record straight, that TMac message had gone stale and Hiller is worse with his system handcuffing the rosters offense ability so much. A good GM would have brought in a coach that could tap more into the offensive capabilities this roster potentially has. Even though the Kings are my 2nd favorite team, it's very frustrating how they are not scoring goals from their top players consistently.

I still also have faith in Copley. His SV% wasn't ever great but he had the it factor winning games with this roster.
