I like mcginn up there.
Yeah we need a more skilled version of a player with his mentality to play with Leo and Z. Win battles, first on the forecheck, drive the net and finish when it's put on a tee

i assume they’ll prob bring back a warm body, or pick someone off waivers at some point to be a 7th.We might have a problem if injuries does hit our blueline. We traded away Fowler and Vaak, but gained Trouba at the NHL level. We are left with only youths under contract in the AHL. We don't have veteran d-men under contract in the AHL.
AHL
- LD Dionicio
- LD/RD Hinds
- RD Luneau
- RD Warren
ECHL
There could be a possibility that we ice 5 youths on the blueline, especially if we ship off Dumo at the TDL. And Dionicio is being held out of playing due to off-ice stuff (bench issue as shared by @Static .)
- RD Biakabutuka
When not injured, Leo has been with Killorn pretty much all season; Zegras was on the left until he got injured again, then they tried Leason in his place but he started to struggle; so now it's McGinn on LW.Can someone answer me this:
Keeping my hate for him aside - is there any reason why Cronin keeps throwing a blender to the forwards when it comes to Carlsson? I don't read the GDTs a ton, but it seems like there’s a different player on his line every other week.
Not sure how to describe this. But is this furthering an issue where they should’ve chose Fantilli instead to match his skill set with the roster that we have OR is the squad not talented/coaching staff not talented enough to utilize what is best for Carlsson?
We basically have the same team with forwards as last year. But …..Can someone answer me this:

Well considering most of our younger players have it I'm afraid he has... Croninitis. Fortunately it's easy to diagnose and cure.Anyone know if Minty is recovering from an injury? He hasn’t taken a step forward and actually looks like he’s regressed this year. He hasn’t popped like he consistently did each game last year.
Not popping because he’s playing a more conservative game. Also starting a lot of shifts in the D zone and not playing much on the PP. Don’t think he’s regressed, just filling a different role.Anyone know if Minty is recovering from an injury? He hasn’t taken a step forward and actually looks like he’s regressed this year. Yeah he doesn't play a flashy game at all but he made multiple really stellar plays in the defensive zone last night. Not popping because he’s playing a more conservative game. Sennecke will be on the ducks next season. He will bulk up more this off season. Get easier 3rd line matchups probably alongside MacT who imho is behind carlsson and ZegrasThe big question long term is whether Carlsson, McTavish, & Zegras are the top 3 centers or not. If they are, which pair up with Terry and Gauthier? If not, who becomes a winger?
Zegras has not been good at wing but showed chemistry with Carlsson. McTavish has been playing better and improving at face-offs but could be better suited at wing. Carlsson is the only one I'm certain is staying at center.

Sennecke will be the ducks best player going forward I think.xxx-Carlsson-Terry

I want at least one big guy or defensively responsible guy on each pair. Colangelo looked to be on the same page with Mac in the little time they spent together.

I’ve seen McGinn and even undersized made of glass Fabbri throw more meaningful hits than Johnston. If there’s better alternatives sure, but we don’t have any.Dream lineup for lovers of soft non hitting below average boring teams
