So.
Presume McT is IR

is our 3rd or 4th line going to be Gauthier Harkins Colangelo? Who said Gauthier needed time in the AHL. Maybe they just bring the AHL to him

Interesting line blender coming up Monday

Maybe he just needs to get fully healthy and not play thru stuff.
I'm willing to bet that's frowned upon by Verbeek and Cronin. At the very least, he'd have to deal with the negative perception.

That said, I agree. Especially if it's the same nagging issue from last year.

Mctavish is pretty injury-prone. Maybe something was bugging him all along.
I think the sample size is too small to say he’s truly injury-prone.

Like if these are the last two injuries he has and he plays for another 10 years, that wouldn’t be injury prone at all.

Fabbri is injury-prone.

I felt with fabbri's play style it's more a matter of when he will get injured and not if. I love it because whenever I watch her seems to put his all in but his body takes a beating.

Does that mean then you can’t call any young player injury-prone? I love McT but this is the 2nd straight season he’ll be missing several games

Hinds might be the bigger deal (to me at least). Seems like the prototype for a defenseman who jells better at the NHL level than the AHL level inherently due to a more structured environment (though I realize with the Ducks, that sounds like a paradox).

This is his 3rd or 4th injury in like 14 months though. Missed preseason last year, injured in the latter half of the season last year, injured in preseason this year, injured now.

I’m concerned that playing through injuries is screwing him up.

2022-23: 80 games played, missed 2 games (Rookie season)
2023-24: 64 games played, missed 18 games
2024-25: 13 games played, missed 3 games
I know this is the opposite of the point you’re trying to make but on the whole this is not a great sign. As DVM said he’s been injured a lot over a short period of time
