Just call me sinboxhead.

Abols has been on a roll in LHV, but at 29 can't imagine he's in their future plans.

Hopefully he gets into a game, but if he stays in NA his future is probably an AHL plus call up type on a nice split contract ($400K/$750)

You say it takes 5 years to tank and be competitive. Every year they waste adds another year to that. 15 years and counting.

Since 2016 the guy has said we are 2 years from being a contender, then it morphed into being 2 years from 2 years away...

And now we're almost 10 years into that terrible projection and far worse off.

He's a f***ing Borg, man.

Resistance is futile.
You will be assimilated.

You'll get to see him tonight, Laughton is out.
Lycksell and Abols played together for a stretch in LHV, so this should ease the transition.
Report is they put Poehling on IR. If true, and Abols was called up, a really rebuilding team would play him every game and not need a second injury to force them to play him.

  • Wow
Reactions: Beef Invictus
I mean, Poehling is three years younger than Abols
That's not a reason not to see what Abols has....Don't call a guy who who's not going to play and if it means the trash can get rotated out for a game with the excuse that you called up Abols to take Poehlings roster spot you do it in a rebuild.

Listening on 1.5 speed...

Sounds like Ersson has chronic groin issues going to back to the surgery he had in 2022

No rush to move Risto. Not shopping him.

- Personally, I hope he stays and keeps his non-playoff streak in tact.

No contract discussions yet with the four big RFAs (Cates, York, Foerster and Frost)

Scotty's not a rental. Important to the dressing room. Didn't love his start to the season, like a lot of players. Critical to our culture, but if there's something that makes too much sense, it's our duty to do the right thing for the organization.

It's not easy to be this consistently wrong all the time on accident. This is a generational level of wrongness. We are lucky in a way
